Hi, I've noticed lately that when my cat urinates in his litter box that it has a foamy white look to it. Im not sure if its just because of the type of litter being used, or if its something to be worried about. I dont think it is the litter because I have three other litter boxes in the house for three different other cats and none of them seem to have this problem... Any thoughts or answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!Foamy Cat Urine??? Any Answers????
Hi there...foamy urine often indicates proteinuria (an abnormal amount of protein) also other causes can be Lower Urinary Tract infections (UTI). Consider ringing a vet to discuss more details since more questions need to be answered to determine if this would merit a medical visit.
