ummmmmm unless you are using distilled water, or well water, you need to use a conditioner. Water conditioner removes harmful chemicals that are used in the processing and cleaning of human tap water. If you are using municipal tap water without using a water conditioner, you are slowly and painfully killing your fish. Most municipalities use chlorine to clean water which burns delicate gills. Eventually the gills will become so burned that the fish can't breath anymore and they suffocate.

If you are using well water, then this is probably the reason for all of the bubbles in your tank. It could very well be a high concentration of bacteria, in which case you need to have your well tested immediately.

If you are using distilled water, then I would say that you're not cleaning your gravel well enough. This could be another reason for a bacteria bloom.

The last thing it could be is that your tank hasn't cycled yet, and is in fact going through a cycle. When I set up my very first tank, I didn't clean the gravel well enough. This caused strange bubbles throughout the cycling process.I have foamy aquarium water?
do you use water conditioner? if you do you may be using to much! this shouldnt harm your fish, just use a sive to get the bubbles off the top and next time you do a change use less conditioner!
