My cat has started really dribbling(a bit foamy) and now one eye's almost closed...any ideas what's wrong??

you'd better go to the vet, pronto. He may have eaten something poison, or be having a severe allergic reaction to something. Take it right away, why let the poor animal suffer! My cat has started really dribbling(a bit foamy) and now one eye's almost closed...any ideas what's wrong??
How many more replies do you need ? V E T N O W !!!!

Why are you posting on Yahoo when you are faced with really concerning symptoms in your cat. It cannot ask you for help, you should be attending to it immediately. How would you like it if someone banged out your symptoms into a computer and waited for answers? My cat has started really dribbling(a bit foamy) and now one eye's almost closed...any ideas what's wrong??
you didnt say how old your cat is, but maybe he has had a stroke, making one side of his body a bit limp and lazy, this would explain the eyes and drooling. get him checked out at your vets.
Check her teeth, she could have an abcess. Is she eating or feel hot on her ears, that signals infection. Is her Cheek puffy on that side causing her eye to shut?
I can't diagnose your cat over the internet, but can tell you to take your cat to the Vet. It may be something serious. You should take it in immediately.
runnnnnnnnnnn to the vet right now.
It's most likely an upper respitory infection, but she needs to go to the vet for antibiotics. Call soon.
If this is recent, ie last few hours-minutes, it has probably ingested something toxic. Call a vet and describe symptoms.
To the vet NOW as others have posted. It could be a spider bite. If you do not take it, the swelling could spread quickly and the poor thing will literally smother. It almost happened to my brother's dog.
sweetheart she sounds like shes been poisened by something take her to the vet ASAP in the meantime give her teaspoons of water if she wont take it wet a cloth and gently ring it into her mouth shell probably spit it out but the tiniest drop can help dilute anything she may have had and good luck let uall know how you get on ok love haz and no doubt everyone on here xxx
Go see the vet.
Sounds like cat flu. Mine was dribbling alot but it turned out to be kidney failure as this causes lesions in the mouth which makes them dribble. Get to a vet ASAP for the cats sake.
DON'T KNOW OUR HAVE A CLUE BUT HE GOT TO BE VERY SICK OR SOMETHING REALLY SERIOUS WRONG WITH HIM, I SUGGEST YOU TAKE HIM TO THE VET!
it could be a fit, or flu, or any no of bad conditions -one things' for sure, she is not right and it could be serious, so go to the vet asap

Agreed, take her to the vet. She's either sick or poisoned!

Got a hold of some really bad catnip...
Call the vet!!! I'm thinking this is a reaction to something toxic. Did you just spray him with flea meds? Did he eat a house plant?
OMG take her to a vet right now!!!
Don't ask here take it to the vet it's obviously sick
i have no clue but let me tell u this take him/her to a vet!!!!!!!
NO but get it to the VET asap you moron!!!
She may be having a stroke...please get her to vet asap!
We had the same problem - they had to take one of the teeth out because of infection. Take the poor cat to the vet and tell them to check the teeth.
Cats can be sensitive to a lot of things are are actually suseptible to eye infections. Get to the vet.
Sounds like teeth problems to me (when cats have tooth trouble - it always seems to affect the eyes too) Get him to the vets first thing - tonight if he deteriorates.

You dont say whther he is off his food/drink?
please please please take it to the vet ASAP. i haven't a clue what is wrong but it obviously isn't something good. it this was happening to you i bet you would have seen your doctor by now. be kind to the cat and get it checked out. after all if you won't do it who will?
